April 14, 2008	No Meeting - Meetings have been moved to the third Monday of the month. The Casting Clinic will replace the meeting for the month of April.
April 21, 2008	CWTU Fly Casting Clinic Fly casting clinic will be held at Marble Park in Winneconne. The clinic is free to the public and will begin at 5:30 pm.
April 26, 2008	CWTU Annual Water Action Volunteer Training, Parkside Middle School, Wautoma
May 10, 2008	CWTU Trout Outing The annual CWTU Trout Outing has become one of our most popular events.  Experienced fly fishermen take out inexperienced for a morning of fly fishing.  We meet at the Dakota Inn, begin with a continental breakfast at 7:30, proceed to the trout stream, return at noon for a picnic buffet, and  the afternoon will feature seminars on creatures in the stream, wildflowers, and casting.  This is a sign up only outing.  Contact John Gremmer at 920-582-7802 or jgremmer@charter.net if you would like to participate.
May 19, 2008	Board Meeting Chapter meetings and board meetings have been moved to the third Monday of the month. The May 19 meeting will start at 6:30 pm and will be held at the Fin 'N Feather in Winneconne.
May 30-June 1, 2008	CWTU Fly Fishing School - Camp LuWiSoMo near Wild Rose The Fly Fishing School is structured for the beginning fly fisher and those with some experience. It covers a multitude of subjects including, fly casting, knot tying, reading the water, stream entomology, care and selection of fly fishing tackle, and fly fishing ethics, just to name a few. The curiculum includes lecture, demonstration, and practical exercise using video, power point, and slide shows, in the class room and stream side. The final session is a guided morning of fishing on local streams. The cost of the school includes meals, lodging, and manuals, handouts, flies tied by the instructors, and the use of a fly rod if the student so notes it in the application.
