TroutFest is sportshow style day long event, which celebrates trout, trout fishing and the people who work care for the waters we all use. The day features 10 twenty minute fishing related mini-seminars, 20 of the best fly tiers in the area, a youth fly tying area, DNR Personnel, fly shop representatives, fishing guides, water monitoring groups, a stream restoration group, raffles, used fishing related items rummage sale and alot of fun fishing conversation.
We draw close to 300 people through out the day and hold it at the Fin n' Feather Restaurant on the Wolf River in Winneconne on the last Saturday of February. TroutFest is a free event and is open to anyone who would like to have fun, learn and meet new people who share a common interest in our local coldwater streams.
