Master's Fly Tying Program 2019

Shown above is master tier Benjamin Kramer along with his two children Debora and Dean who are also fly tiers. Ben taught us how to tie two Intruder patterns called the Bubble Gum Explosion and the Winter Storm.

The CWTU Master's Tying program runs for five three hour sessions in January and sometimes into February.  The program is limited to 25 tiers and fills up fast every year. Each of the presenters provides all the materials needed to tie the flies and the participants provides the tools and basics such as thread.

Besides being an instructional program, it is also a social event with presenter and many of the participants getting together to eat at the Fin N Feather before the event.

The program is coordinated by CWTU member Tom Meyer.
